OzBloom is a project for discovering Australian native flowers. Its subject is something I also enjoy through photography: noticing the detail in the natural world.
A reason to look closer
Software can be an invitation to pay attention outdoors. A name or a visual reference gives a familiar-looking flower a little more context, and makes the next walk more interesting.
This project brings together that curiosity about nature with the pleasure of making a small visual tool.
A note on imagery
Illustrative or generated botanical imagery is not a substitute for authoritative identification.
